Alvarez de Toledo

Name: Alvarez de Toledo
Variety:Godello
Region: Bierzo
Country: Spain
Year: 2013
Price: $7.95

Winery review:
Clean pale yellow color. Nose fruity, persistent and elegant aromas. Good backbone on the palate.
My review:
Yep another white....I cant say that I hated this one though was a bit stronger then the other whites but still wasn't a fan thus made me think why they chose so many whites this week. Though for the price and for the fact that it kinda had a kick. For that I would want to recommend it just to try but if the price rose any i would just pass on it.

Villa Jolanda

Variety:Brut
Region: Not stated
Country: Italy
Year: 2013(the sheet didn't specify)
Price: $8.95

Winery review:

Brilliant straw color with emerald reflections. Fresh and floral bouquet with a hint of pears, apricots and bananas. Fresh and inviting with bright fruit and an easy drinking style with a pleasing hint of almonds in the aftertaste
My review:
Didn't like this one flat out actually. I smelled it and when I did it flat out made me shutter. I didn't want to drink this one for some reason but ended up doing it and shuttered again when I actually drank it. Was not pleasant I don't wanna recommend this one but might be that I simply was done with whites at this point. Honestly though I wouldn't retry it though either.

Oracle

Name: Oracle
Variety:Pinotage
Region: Not Stated
Country: South Africa
Year: 2014
Price: $7.95

Winery review:

An unusual style of Pinotage with complex aromas of black pepper, smoke, tomato, and dark fruit. The palate is packed with ripe mixed berry flavors, making this unoaked red wine a real crowd-pleaser.

 My review:
I liked this one a lot actually. It was very different then a lot of other wines and the fact that it red i think helped me since it was a bit more bitter then the other white's that they kept showing us in tandem. So this for me was a good change of pace thankfully. I would recommend this wine to other more so if like me they like reds this one is different then normal ones that you'd try so its worth the shot.

Monte Degli Angeli

Name: Monte Degli Angeli
Variety:Sangiovese
Region:Puglia
Country: Italy
Year: 2013(the sheet didn't specify)
Price: $7.95

Winery review:
The aromas are rich and dark, with lots of black cherry and a hint of balsamic. In the mouth the wine is round and energetic, with cherry and black raspberry fruit complemented by hints of damp earth. If you like Sangiovese-based wines like Chianti or our best-selling Colsanto from Umbria, you'll love this! The wine is ripe, fresh, and fruit-driven with a wonderful dash of earthy complexity at the end. Buy it by the case and drink with pizza, grilled poultry, and pasta.
My review:
This one confused me honestly. The server gave a good speech hyping this one up and when I tasted it it was honestly a bit of a let down in my mind. I was told that it paired with various foods, pasta and such but again without being able to actually try that to see if it would be better so I'm not really gonna recommend it.
